Over 100 Project READ learners and families were in attendance at our September Story Hour. Families were entertained by Andy Z and his interactive children's show, taking them through "Andyland," found deep in the imagination of a child. Children danced, sang and explored.
Eight volunteers from HOBA and Blueprint were on hand to help the kids with crafts, distribute books and set up and clean up the event. A a big 'thank you' to both organizations and our amazing volunteers.
All families were given a beautiful new family book to take home, while students selected titles from our Book Give Away Table to continue to build home libraries. Student took part in *STEAM focused activities such as Bubber, Snap circuits, 3D pop-up books, and got creative in our Tinker Lab.
