Twelve Project READ teen tutors toured San Jose State University recently as part of their college tours. Many of our teens are former Project learners. Our teens were able to tour the campus and listen to a admission presentation about the school and application process. It is a very exciting time for our students who have worked so hard and committed so much time to our Project READ community. One of our teen tutors on the tour, who started as part of our early intervention program and has stayed with Project READ throughout his elementary and high school years, has already received his acceptance to San Jose State. What an incredible experience for our teen tutors!
