This week, we are honoring the end of summer and the idea of anticipation (like the start of school) by reading, Waiting for Chicken Smith by David Mackintosh. Have you ever waited for a friend to come or an event to happen? In this book, the character does just that… waits for summer-time friend Chicken Smith to show up. But will he ever come? Join along to find out.
