Last month, Project READ was honored to receive the Welcoming Star Award from Redwood City Together. The award was presented by Redwood City Mayor, Elmer Martínez Saballos, a former Project READ teen tutor. Each year, Redwood City Together recognizes programs in Redwood City and North Fair Oaks that are committed to creating a welcoming environment or all who live in, work, study, and visit in our community. At Project READ, we celebrate our diverse group of students, tutors and families and strive to create a safe, nurturing and welcoming learning environment. Sharing in this award with other amazing programs throughout the City was a true honor. Thank you!
